We were approached at the beginning of July with an enquiry for the annual Camp Oliver party. This was to take place close to the Bournemouth Airport. As you can imagine, there was always quite a bit of uncertainty as to whether, and in what form, the party would take place. However because it was an out door party we were pretty confident that it would not get cancelled.
Out door parties
They do present different considerations for photo booth companies. Perhaps crucially, lighting. As you can see from these, the lighting was inconsistent throughout the evening. Very simple reason - daylight! By the time we finished, it was fully dark. I think, personally, anyone would have struggled to get a consistent look and feel to these photos. However one thing I think we will do, for the future, is to invest in some external stand lights that we can use if necessary. That way we’ll be better able to control the lighting. We used our balloon backdrop.

Our pod is probably the easiest booth we have - it’s lightweight & can be really quick to put up. We’re thinking that it might be ideal to hire out without a booth butler in constant attendance. We haven’t done this ever before simply because of the risk of damage, but it might make sense with a suitable deposit.
