It has to be said that Abi has the best sister-in-law ever! The plan was for two parties. One in the afternoon for the children. Then a short break before a party in the evening for the adults. We gave a quote based on that. The original set of photos for this Child Okeford photo booth hire event can be found on our Facebook page. However we’ve kept a few on here as a lovely reminder.
Organising the party
After a bit of negotiation, it made sense to provide our Child Okeford photo booth hire service for the evening only. About 25% of the events we do are for children. However here there would be a gap between the two parties. Our booth butlers, brilliant though they are, need paying and we have to charge for the “dead time” between the two parties.
Dead Time
Dead time is generally the time between finishing the set up and starting the photo booth hire. Most booth companies will arrive approximately an hour before the hire time. This gives them time to build the booth and set everything out. Anything beyond that hour is considered to be dead time. Dead time can be prior to the beginning of the hire or post. In this case, we were looking an inescapable break in the middle between the two parties. We keep our dead time charges as low as possible - it’s basically to pay the booth butler to sit and wait.
Our aim is to provide a quality, reliable service to all of Dorset. Whether it is for a wedding, a bar mitzvah, or a birthday party, we aim for stellar service because this is YOUR day.
